Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International researchers to participate in a research working group for studies related to the environment. The purpose of the program is to fund and support groups of investigators working to develop and meet national conservation goals of the United States. These goals include pollution reduction, restoration of degraded ecosystems, elimination of invasive species, and strengthening nature's resilience. Eligible researchers and practitioners may be operating independently or in affiliation with an academic, governmental agency, multilateral, or nonprofit institution. Funds may be used to convene working groups, to support salaries of postdoctoral fellows or research/technical assistants committed to specific projects, or to pay for contracted services to support the work.
